32 Days and Counting...
Readers and Friends,
Boy... do people have some interesting ideas!
Part of building a successful career as an independent author involves exposing myself to new avenues for the exchange of ideas. Specifically, I have had to dramatically increase my presence on social media. If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc... you may have noticed.
...and if the sudden increase in the frequency of my posts is annoying to anyone, please be assured that I take your feedback very seriously. Just say the word and I will adjust!
That said, building connections with other creative types, be they authors, poets, or artists, has been a highly entertaining experience to say the least! I have learned a lot more about every aspect of my craft as a result of expanding my reach and broadening my horizons. I am meeting a lot of very talented people, and I some of their ideas are really fascinating to me!
Hopefully, some of the folks I am meeting and getting to know think my own ideas are interesting, as well.
Now, for an update on my current projects: STORMSEND is all set to be published on schedule, releasing on March 31st. Bruno Johnson, Cop-Turned-Con, Saves "Disposable" Kids in this Fast-Moving Thriller
Perfect for fans of Michael Connelly, Jeff Carson, and Isabella Moldonado
THE DISPOSABLES is the first book in the bestselling Bruno Johnson thriller series.
Bruno Johnson, a tough street cop, member of the elite violent crime taskforce, feared by the bad guys, admired by the good, finds his life derailed when a personal tragedy forces him to break the law. Now he's an ex-con and his life on parole is not going well. He is hassled by the police at every opportunity and to make matters even more difficult, his former partner, Robby Wicks, now a high-ranking detective, bullies him into helping solve a high-profile crime - unofficially, of course.
Meantime, Bruno's girlfriend, Marie, brings out the good, the real Bruno, and even though they veer totally outside the law, he and Marie dedicate themselves to saving abused children, creating a type of underground railroad for neglected kids at risk -- disposable kids. What they must do is perilous as they step far outside the law, battling a warped justice system and Bruno's former partner, with his own evil agenda.
